Is adenomyosis hereditary?

Is adenomyosis hereditary?

The uterus is a very important part and cannot be damaged too much under normal circumstances. If the uterus is damaged, it also means that there may be disease problems. I believe that every woman has a uterus. When adenomyosis occurs, it will not only affect the reproductive function, but it also often occurs in women of childbearing age. Whether this will affect fertility and heredity.

Does adenomyosis affect pregnancy?

Adenomyosis often occurs in women between the ages of 30 and 50, especially those approaching menopause. Usually, these patients have completed their reproductive tasks and do not need to worry about infertility issues. As for young patients in their twenties, the chance of getting adenomyosis is relatively rare. However, for young patients, once they are diagnosed with adenomyosis, the most concerning issue is whether adenomyosis will cause infertility. It is generally believed that severe adenomyosis, especially in patients with endometriosis, is prone to infertility. This type of patients have uterine hypertrophy and are prone to pelvic adhesions, which are not conducive to ovulation and embryo implantation, and the natural pregnancy rate is not high. Fortunately, it is uncommon for young women to have severe adenomyosis. If the patient has mild adenomyosis, there is still a chance of pregnancy. In addition, if it is a localized adenoma, the tumor can be removed surgically to preserve the uterus, and there is still a chance of becoming pregnant in the future.

Dietary considerations for adenomyosis

1. The diet should be light, and it is not suitable to eat mutton, shrimp, crab, eel, salted fish, black fish, etc.

2. Avoid spicy foods and drinks such as chili peppers, peppercorns, raw onions, raw garlic, and white wine.

3. Avoid eating foods that are hot, coagulant, or contain hormones, such as longan, red dates, donkey-hide gelatin, and royal jelly.

4. Eat more lean meat, chicken, eggs, quail eggs, grass carp, turtle, white fish, cabbage, asparagus, celery, spinach, cucumber, winter melon, mushrooms, tofu, fruits, etc.
