You may experience bleeding between 6 and 12 days after conception. This is mainly caused by the fertilized egg implanting in the endometrium. It is also possible that some women do not realize they are pregnant and may even mistake it for normal menstrual bleeding, but the amount of bleeding is very small and lasts from a few hours to a few days.

But it only occurs in about 2% of pregnant women. Other symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy are frequent dizziness and severe cramping or pain in the lower abdomen.

Molar pregnancy

This is a relatively rare condition and is usually caused by abnormal tissue growing in the uterus and the fetus not fully developing. In the worst-case scenario, the tissue could be cancerous and could even spread to other parts of the body. Of course, the probability of this happening is relatively low. Other symptoms of the disease are severe nausea and vomiting, along with rapid swelling of the uterus.
