How to treat bacterial vaginitis in traditional Chinese medicine

Because the female vagina is in a moist environment for a long time or is not cleaned in time after frequent sexual intercourse, it is easy to breed bacteria and cause bacterial infection. Vaginitis is a very common gynecological disease in women. The main cause of vaginitis is bacterial infection. So how should vaginal inflammation caused by bacterial infection be treated in traditional Chinese medicine?

1. Dampness and heat:

The amount of vaginal discharge is large, yellow in color, thick in texture, and foul in smell. There is hot flashes, burning sensation, swelling and pain in the vagina, dark urine and dry mouth. The tongue is red with a greasy yellow coating, and the pulse is slippery and rapid.

Treatment: Clear away heat, promote dampness and stop leukorrhea

Prescription: 15 grams each of Poria cocos, Poria cocos, Red Peony Root, and Cortex Moutan, 10 grams each of Alisma orientalis, Phellodendron amurense, Gardenia jasminoides, Ginkgo biloba, and Plantago seed (package), and 6 grams of raw licorice.

2. Wet and turbid betting:

The amount of vaginal discharge is large, white, sticky, and has a fishy smell. There is swelling and heaviness in the vagina, abdominal distension, poor appetite, loose stools, a pale tongue, a white and greasy coating, and a weak pulse.

Treatment: Strengthen the spleen, eliminate dampness and stop leukorrhea

Prescription: 15g each of Codonopsis pilosula, Atractylodes macrocephala, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Chinese yam, raw coix seed, 10g each of dried tangerine peel and dried tangerine peel

Chinese patent medicine: Baidai pills

The amount of leucorrhea is large, yellow-white in color, thick, or fishy and smelly, with burning sensation in the vagina, irritability, bitter taste in the mouth, fatigue, poor appetite, loose stools, red tongue, thin and greasy coating, and a stringy and thin pulse.

Treatment method: Soothe the liver and clear away heat, strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness.

Prescription: 15 grams each of moutan bark, white peony root, atractylodes macrocephala, poria, and raw coix seed, 10 grams each of bupleurum, gardenia, oriental water plantain, black mustard spike, and plantain seed (package), and 6 grams of raw licorice.

Chinese patent medicine: Jiaweidaoyao pills

A. Fumigation and washing of the vulva: 15 grams each of Atractylodes lancea, raw Coix seeds, Sophora flavescens, and 10 grams of Phellodendron chinense. Wrap in cloth and boil in water for 2 minutes. Use for fumigation and washing of the vulva, twice a day.

B. Vaginal medication: 1 Kangfute suppository, insert into the vagina once every night, 10 times as a course of treatment.
