Baby girl's breast protrusion

Baby girl's breast protrusion

It means that women’s breasts are not big when they are born. They are the result of the development of estrogen in their bodies after they enter puberty. The main tissue structure of the breast is the mammary gland and some fat, so the breast is soft. However, some parents have found that their baby girls have more prominent breasts than other baby girls when they are born. What is the reason for this?

1. What is the reason for the baby's breast protrusion?

It is considered that because there is relatively more subcutaneous fat, the breasts may be more prominent and the baby may be fatter. It may also be caused by the estrogen obtained from the mother in the child's body when he is a few months old. Early breast development is generally a benign process, and it often occurs in children under 3 years old. Their growth and bone age are basically normal, and breast development will not progressively worsen, so don't worry.

2. Causes of precocious puberty in children

There are many reasons that lead to precocious puberty in children, and there is currently no definite evidence that the estrogen in milk powder will cause precocious puberty in babies. Some children may also develop breasts due to imperfect self-development regulation after birth, resulting in symptoms of simple premature breast development. This symptom often appears when the child is 2 years old and will disappear automatically after 3 to 6 months. At the same time, adverse effects on children in the mother's womb and excessive consumption of supplements and artificially produced foods may also lead to precocious puberty. The causes of precocious puberty in children are relatively complex, and most of the causes are unknown. Whether it is simple premature breast development or true precocious puberty, it cannot be concluded that there is a connection between the patient and a specific food or environment.

3. Classification of precocious puberty

Precocious puberty can be roughly divided into two categories: true precocious puberty and false precocious puberty.

True precocious puberty is the same as normal sexual maturity, only it develops earlier. Development occurs in the normal order, with ovulatory menstrual cycles and fertility. There have been reports of pregnancies and childbirths in children aged 5-10 years. Constitutional factors, central nervous system diseases, and treatment of adrenal syndrome may all lead to precocious puberty.

Pseudo-precocious puberty refers to the development of secondary sexual characteristics before the development of the ovaries, with genital development, breast development, pubic hair and axillary hair growth, but fertility does not advance, or there is anovulatory menstruation. Sometimes, a single phenomenon of precocious puberty may occur, such as premature pubic hair or premature breast development. Adrenal cortical lesions and cortical hyperplasia can often cause pseudo-precocious puberty in the opposite sex, manifested as virilization, hirsutism, bone and muscle development, changes in voice tone, clitoral hypertrophy, and breast underdevelopment.
