The reason why women have high mucus

The mucus secreted by cervical gland cells undergoes regular changes under the influence of uterine and ovarian estrogen. Estrogen can relax and dilate the cervical canal, increase secretion volume, and make the fluid thinner, more elastic, and easy to pull into flocs. With the further increase of female hormone levels, the secretion volume continues to rise until ovulation, and it is thinner and transparent, with a metal brushing degree of more than 10cm. Examination of the mucus photo revealed fern-like crystals. After ovulation, under the influence of estrogen, the cervix closes, mucus secretion decreases, and the characteristics become thick.

A small amount of mucus may exist in the urine of normal women. If it is not accompanied by any clinical symptoms of urinary discomfort, and other tests are normal during urine examination, it is considered that the urine may be mixed with secretions from the vagina or around the urethra, which is caused by urine extraction. The vulva should be cleaned, and the patient should drink plenty of water and then undergo a routine urine test. If a woman's urine has high mucus, and urine examination shows positive white blood cell count, red blood cell count, and urine nitrite, and is accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, pain when urinating, and burning discomfort in the urethra, then cystitis or urethritis may be the cause. Further urine culture and drug sensitivity test should be performed to determine which bacteria are infecting her, and based on the results, relatively sensitive antibiotics should be used for treatment, such as quinolones, cephalosporins, or macrolides.

There are two main reasons why women have high levels of mucus in their urine. The first is caused by chronic urinary tract infection. The diagnosis can be confirmed through routine urine tests and urine culture tests. Then some anti-infection drugs, such as levofloxacin tablets and Sanjin tablets, can be used for treatment for one to two weeks, and the symptoms can be alleviated.

The second main reason is gynecological inflammation. Leucorrhea leaking into the urine can also cause such a problem. The diagnosis can be confirmed through routine examination of secretions. Some gynecological vaginal suppositories should be inserted into the vagina for one to two weeks of treatment, and the symptoms can be improved.
