Lumps on labia

Lumps on labia

The female genitals are very fragile, so women should change their underwear frequently and pay more attention to private hygiene, which can effectively avoid bacterial infection. Some women find that a small lump grows on their labia, which is most likely caused by bacterial infection in the labia. You can go to the hospital for examination first and receive targeted treatment. Let’s take a look at what causes lumps on the labia.

A hard lump grew on the labia minora. It was very painful and like a boil, but there was no pus and it was a little shiny. It may be folliculitis or inflammation of the sebaceous glands. Avoid spicy food, eat a low-fat diet, apply erythromycin ointment and wash frequently with hot water. Do not squeeze it, otherwise it will easily spread the infection. You can also take a little antibiotics orally.

In this case, it is considered to be a Bartholin gland cyst or folliculitis caused by poor vulvar hygiene, which mainly manifests as local redness, swelling and pain. It is recommended to pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva and change underwear frequently. You can use potassium permanganate water for sitting bath and then disinfect the area with iodine tincture. If it is not good, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination, or send pictures to help you see, and then use targeted medication for treatment.

Consider observing whether there is any pain or discomfort. Choose Bactroban if necessary. Be careful to eat less raw, cold and irritating foods. It is better to refrain from sexual intercourse for a short period of time. If there are lumps on the labia, it may be caused by folliculitis, which can be treated by applying ichthyol ointment while taking metronidazole tablets and amoxicillin capsules. In this case, Bartholin's gland cyst is more likely to be considered. Sitz bath with potassium permanganate solution and external application of Bactroban should be used for treatment. Spicy and irritating foods should be avoided.

It is considered to be inflammation of the vulvar hair follicles, which is related to your diet and gynecological inflammation. Eat less spicy and irritating food, keep the vulva clean and breathable, and apply some anti-inflammatory ointment, such as Bactroban ointment.
