What causes stabbing pain in the left side of the chest?

When chest pain occurs, it is likely due to breast hyperplasia, and endocrine disorders cannot be ruled out. No matter which one it is, you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time. For pregnant women who are breastfeeding, it is easy to experience chest pain when the milk is swollen. At this time, just let the baby suck more. Also, be careful not to compress the mammary ducts during breastfeeding, otherwise it will cause tingling.

Breast hyperplasia is a common gynecological disease. It manifests as single or multiple lumps growing in different parts of the breast. The lumps are soft in texture, have unclear boundaries, are movable, and are often accompanied by varying degrees of pain. Especially before menstruation, after fatigue, or when there are emotional fluctuations such as anger, the lump will increase in size and the pain will increase in severity, while after menstruation the lump will significantly shrink and the pain will be relieved.

Hyperplasia is mainly caused by endocrine disorders. The human endocrine system is a huge system. No matter which link, if there is a problem, it will lead to disorders of the entire endocrine system. At present, it may only manifest as breast hyperplasia, but if it is not adjusted in time and comprehensively, it will easily cause other related diseases, such as irregular menstruation, chloasma, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and other related endocrine disorders. Breast hyperplasia belongs to the gonad axis disease. The endocrine glands that cause breast hyperplasia are located on the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary gonad axis. Only drugs that comprehensively regulate the hormone secretion of each gland on the gonad axis can more effectively treat breast hyperplasia. Therefore, once breast hyperplasia is discovered, it is recommended that patients seek treatment as soon as possible.

Generally speaking, if there is sudden, persistent, and severe pain in the breast accompanied by obvious tenderness, it is considered to be various acute infectious diseases of the breast; if there is local throbbing pain, local suppuration may have occurred. The pain is distending or stabbing, sometimes involving the ipsilateral armpit or shoulder and back. If there is mild to moderate tenderness locally, it is considered to be a proliferative lesion. If breast pain is paroxysmal and often begins before menstruation or worsens during menstruation, and is relieved or disappears after menstruation, it is considered premenstrual tension syndrome.
