A little bleeding after menstruation

A little bleeding after menstruation

It is not uncommon to have a small amount of bleeding after the menstrual period. When this symptom occurs, do not be careless and go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time. There are many reasons for this symptom. When you suffer from a certain disease, this symptom is likely to occur, such as cervical erosion, cervical cancer and other diseases. Let us now take a closer look at the specific situation of a small amount of bleeding after menstruation.

1. If the bleeding at this time is relatively small, it may be ovulation bleeding. The ovulation period is generally 13 to 19 days after the start of menstruation. Due to the replacement of hormones during ovulation, there may be a small amount of bleeding. You can check with a gynecological B-ultrasound. If it is ovulation bleeding, just pay attention and observe it.

2. There are many reasons for non-menstrual vaginal bleeding, including lesions of the vagina itself, lesions of the uterus, and ovarian endocrine dysfunction. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination after the bleeding stops. If necessary, cervical scraping, colposcopy, diagnostic curettage, hysteroscopy and other examinations can be performed to clarify the diagnosis and early treatment.

3. Lesions of the uterus, cervix, and vagina can all lead to vaginal bleeding. Common causes include genital tract inflammation, cervical erosion, early cervical cancer, cervical polyps or uterine submucosal fibroids. It is recommended to go to the hospital's gynecology department for B-ultrasound and other examinations to clarify the cause before treatment.

4. It is irregular menstruation. This is a common gynecological disease. It manifests as abnormal menstrual cycle or bleeding volume, or abdominal pain and systemic symptoms before and during menstruation. Mental factors, environmental factors, endocrine disorders, gynecological inflammation (cervicitis, cervical erosion, endometritis, etc.), and taking emergency contraceptive pills can all cause menstrual disorders. It is recommended to go to the hospital for B-ultrasound and six hormone tests to make a clear diagnosis. Pay more attention to eating regularly, eat more fruits, and exercise appropriately. Ensure adequate sleep, be in a good mood, and avoid eating spicy or cold food.
