Sometimes dull pain on the left side of the uterus

As the other half of human social development, women are playing an increasingly important role. Women are no longer just taking care of their husbands and children as they did in the past. Now they are engaging in work and social production, and their role is no less than that of men. At the same time, women also bear a lot of pressure and their physical condition is also worrying. Most female diseases are gynecological diseases, so what causes a dull pain on the left side of a woman?

There are many diseases that cause pain in the left lower abdomen of women. Generally, they are related to gynecological diseases. It is very likely that the uterus is damaged, such as endometritis, uterine prolapse, uterine fibroids, etc.

Endometritis

Endometritis is caused by external bacteria entering the endometrium of the uterus along the female private parts, cervix, or along the fallopian tube and through the lymphatic system. When bacteria invade the uterus, abdominal pain will occur, and sometimes the pain is unbearable. Under normal circumstances, the female part is acidic and the cervix has a mucus plug, which is a physiological barrier of the human body that can resist the invasion of bacteria. But it is not difficult for infection to occur. At this time, we can judge the health of the uterus from the location of the abdominal pain.

Adnexitis

Adnexitis is the cause of lower left abdominal and lower back pain in women. Adnexitis is the most common gynecological inflammation. Acute adnexitis has symptoms such as severe lower abdominal pain, fever, and chills. Chronic adnexitis is characterized by varying degrees of left-sided abdominal pain or lower abdominal distension, accompanied by increased leucorrhea, back pain, and menstrual disorders.

Pelvic inflammatory disease

Pelvic inflammatory disease can also cause pain in the left side of the abdomen and lower back in women. Pelvic inflammatory disease usually has no obvious systemic symptoms. Sometimes there are lower abdominal pain, distension and pain in the lower abdomen, soreness in the lumbar region, and irregular menstruation. The symptoms of pain in the left side of the abdomen will worsen after sexual intercourse.

Right upper abdominal pain

Problems with the liver and gallbladder should be given special consideration. For example, acute and chronic hepatitis, liver cancer, cholecystitis, gallstones, etc. may cause pain in the right upper abdomen. In addition, you should also pay attention to whether there are any problems with the pancreas, duodenum, right kidney, right segment of the large intestine, etc.

Right lower abdominal pain

The first thing you should think about is whether you have appendicitis. If the pain starts with upper abdominal pain and then turns to right lower abdominal pain after a few hours, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, etc., it is mostly acute appendicitis. In addition, problems with the small intestine, cecum, and right ureter should also be considered. If accompanied by frequent urination, hematuria, etc., it is likely to be ureteral stones. Women should also pay attention to whether there are problems with the right ovary and fallopian tube.

Pain around the belly button

Problems with the small intestine and pancreas should be considered mainly.

Widespread abdominal pain

It may be caused by a variety of reasons, such as gastric ulcer, appendicitis, cholecystitis, etc., which may cause persistent and severe pain in the entire abdominal cavity.

What to do if you have a stomachache

1. Raise your hand if you stop

If you have severe abdominal pain and you can't find a place to lie down, you can stop and squeeze the painful area with your fingers. Usually just below the right rib cage, then purse your lips tightly and blow out deeply. This will relieve pressure on the diaphragm and reduce abdominal pain. You can also raise your arms above your head, taking a deep breath as you raise your arms, and then exhaling slowly as you lower them.

2. Breathe from your belly

If you often get stitches while exercising, you can try abdominal breathing. This is a breathing method that involves slowly and deeply compressing and relaxing the abdomen. To get this feeling, lie on your back in bed with a book on your abdomen. The book rises with each inhalation of air, and your shoulders cannot move. Belly breathing can also help strengthen the abdominal walls, thereby reducing the pumping and squeezing of the diaphragm.

3. Postpone exercise after meals

If you are prone to abdominal cramps, wait an hour or two after eating before exercising.

4. Exercises that should be avoided

Anyone with mononucleosis should avoid contact sports, but in fact, it is best not to exercise at all. Any unconscious movement, careless slapping, or pushing and pulling during an argument may rupture an already enlarged spleen.

5. Learn to relax

Abdominal pain can sometimes be caused by mental stress, and yoga and biofeedback therapy can help you get rid of stress. Either way, it will help relax your abdominal organs and your entire body.
