What to do if you have vaginal discharge?

The environment inside the vagina is very closed, which is a self-protection phenomenon of the female reproductive system, but vaginal occlusion can also easily lead to some problems. For example, when the disease invades, it is easy to have some vaginal inflammation problems, which bring great pain to women. Among them, the symptoms of vaginal pus discharge are relatively rare and very harmful. Let's take a look at what to do if there is vaginal pus discharge?

General treatment

Aggressive treatment can eliminate susceptibility factors. Keep the vulva clean and dry and avoid scratching. It is not advisable to eat spicy and irritating foods, the effect is very good. Change your underwear frequently and wash it with warm water. Do not mix it with other clothes to avoid cross infection.

Changes in vaginal pH

The weakly acidic environment of the vagina can maintain its self-cleaning function. The normal pH is 3.7-4.5. Therefore, in addition to being suitable for daily cleaning and maintenance, the use of weakly acidic feminine care solutions with Ph4 formula during treatment is also effective in reducing the bacterial flora disorder that causes bacterial vaginosis. When going to the toilet, wipe the vulva with feminine hygiene wipes to keep it dry to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.

Western medicine treatment

1. The principle of oral medication for elderly patients is to enhance vaginal resistance and inhibit bacterial growth. You can take 0.125-0.5 mg of acetaminophen orally.

Phenol 0.5 mg is inserted into the vagina once every night, and a course of treatment is 7 to 10 days. If local inflammation is obvious, antibiotics can be added at the same time, such as metronidazole or one tablet of furazolidone (containing 50 mg of furazolidone and 10 mg of furazolidone).

Phenol 0.25 mg) is placed in the vagina once a night, 7 to 10 g per day as a course of treatment.

Young girls can rinse their vulva 2 to 3 times a day with a weak acid formula feminine care solution, take 0.05 to 0.1 mg of ethidium bromide orally daily for 5 to 7 days, and at the same time, drip corresponding antibiotics into the vagina. If there is a foreign object in the vagina, it should be removed.

2. Some drugs can be used for local treatment, such as gel disinfectants. Take the medicine once every night.

3. For patients with complications where other pathogens are detected, medications targeting these pathogens must be used, but the abuse of antibiotics must be avoided. When selecting drugs for reproductive tract or other systems, attention should be paid to the systemic condition of the drug. Supportive and immune-enhancing therapies can be used at the same time, and attention should be paid to adverse drug reactions.

4. Partner treatment advocates that male partners also take a course of medication, but there are also reports that this treatment does not prevent relapses in female patients.
