How to take care of breast nodules after surgery?

Breast nodules are not a very difficult disease to treat clinically, because in most cases, as long as modern medicine is used reasonably, a small operation can eliminate the disease. However, the breast is a relatively important part of the female body after all, so after the operation, you still need to pay attention to various matters. So the question is, how to maintain breast nodules after surgery?

1. Get adequate rest and eat as usual after surgery.

2. After the operation, if the operated breast feels very swollen and painful, and there is a lot of bright red exudate on the bandage, you need to seek medical attention immediately.

3. It is recommended to remove the bandage after surgery after 72 hours. If you feel uncomfortable, please contact me to confirm whether it can be removed earlier.

4. The first postoperative follow-up will be on the next Wednesday after the operation. It will mainly check the wound and interpret the routine postoperative pathology report. It is in Room 614-2 on the sixth floor of the outpatient department. Please make an appointment with the breast tumor specialist first. It is recommended to have a follow-up examination every 3 months.

5. Avoid heavy labor (such as washing clothes, mopping the floor, hanging clothes and holding children, etc.) for 2 weeks after the operation. The objects carried by the affected side should not exceed 3 kilograms. Avoid chest expansion exercises that pull on the breast. Avoid collision with the breast within 1 month after surgery, and do not drive, ride a bicycle or ride a motorcycle. Please put on a bra immediately after removing the bandage (it is best to wear a bra at night for at least 1 week).

6. If you take Hirudoid ointment with you when you are discharged from the hospital, please use it after removing the elastic bandage. Start by applying it to the original swelling and surgery site, and do not apply it to the wound. Wait until the wound is completely healed before applying it to the wound, twice a day.

Dietary taboos after breast nodule surgery

1. Avoid spicy food. Such food is not good for any patient after surgery and patients need to avoid it.

2. Avoid overeating. So as not to affect intestinal digestion, which is also detrimental to postoperative recovery.

3. Avoid eating greasy, high-fat foods, and focus on a low-fat, high-protein diet to promote postoperative recovery.

4. Avoid eating smoked, salted, fried, grilled and other foods.

5. Use health supplements with caution. Although many health supplements can maintain a youthful appearance, they can easily lead to excessively high estrogen levels in women's bodies, which can increase the risk of breast diseases, especially breast cancer, and do great harm to women's breast health.
