What should I do if I have vaginal discharge caused by vaginitis?

Many women have recently developed vaginitis, with some residue-like leucorrhea appearing in their lower body. The leucorrhea looks like small pieces, and they often feel very severe itching. This situation is likely to be fungal vaginitis. Many women do not know much about this. What kind of disease is fungal vaginitis? How should it be treated?

Mycotic vaginitis (monilialormycoticvaginitis) is caused by fungal infection. Its incidence rate is higher than that of Trichomonas vaginitis. In medicine, fungal infection is called Candida infection, so fungal vaginitis is also called Candidal vaginitis. It is more common in young girls, pregnant women, diabetic patients, and postmenopausal patients who have been treated with large doses of estrogen.

The most common symptoms of candidal vaginitis are vulvar itching and a significant increase in leucorrhea. This disease is caused by Candida albicans, a fungus that exists on the human body surface and in body cavities, such as the mouth, rectum, and vagina. Under normal circumstances, even if this fungus exists in the vagina, it will not cause disease. It will only cause disease when it multiplies in large numbers. When the disease occurs, symptoms include itching of the vulva, burning sensation in the vagina, and leucorrhea that resembles tofu dregs.

It is usually difficult to completely cure candidal vaginitis with drug treatment. This is because the inflammatory bacteria often accumulate in the rectouterine pouch, and general medications cannot effectively eliminate them.

Experts say that thorough treatment and care of candidal vaginitis are equally important. Female friends must not take it lightly, maintain an optimistic attitude, do not put too much pressure on themselves, adjust their diet reasonably, do not eat too spicy food, pay attention to personal hygiene, avoid cross-infection, exercise moderately, enhance their own resistance, actively cooperate with doctors, and strive for a speedy recovery.

Vaginitis can be treated with a relatively simple approach, or a combination of Chinese and Western medicine can be used at the same time.
