Will humidity affect pregnancy?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, dampness is a term that can cause symptoms such as headaches, limb and joint pains, fever, and body acidity. It is very harmful and many people have this problem. Many people experience heavy dampness during the process of preparing for pregnancy. After all, it has a certain impact on the body, and they are worried that it will hinder a normal pregnancy. So, will excessive moisture affect pregnancy? Let’s take a look below.

Excessive moisture in the body can affect pregnancy. You may consider consulting a Chinese medicine doctor and choosing Chinese medicine such as Wei Ling Tang, Xiang Sha Liu Jun Zi Tang, etc. to adjust the treatment. Choose a dermatology clinic for examination to confirm. If there is an infection, you can use antifungal medication to treat it. Develop good living habits and pay attention to hygiene. It is best to plan to have a baby after you are cured. Or it is recommended to go to the dermatology department of a regular hospital first, and then receive treatment after a clear diagnosis. You can also seek treatment from a local famous Chinese medicine doctor. Pregnancy requires certain conditions:

1. Normal ovulation. Women of childbearing age have two ovaries, and normal mature eggs are released every month. The eggs are released into the pelvic cavity and picked up by the fimbria of the fallopian tube and put into the fallopian tube. Women ovulate approximately on the 14th to 15th day of the menstrual cycle, which is 14 days before the next menstruation. The eggs survive for about 16 to 24 hours after being released.

2. Hormones secreted by the ovaries that are necessary for maintaining the growth of egg cells and embryos. The development of eggs requires the nutrition of estrogen secreted by the ovaries. The corpus luteum formed in the ovaries after ovulation can secrete progesterone, which is crucial for maintaining early pregnancy.

3. The woman’s cervix must be normal. If the cervix is inflamed, the cervical mucus will be very thick, making it difficult for sperm to enter. Only with a healthy cervix, during ovulation, will the cervical mucus become clear, allowing sperm to penetrate into the cervical mucus and be stored in the cervical canal, then be released in batches and swim into the uterine cavity.

4. The woman’s fallopian tubes must be unobstructed and function normally. Only in this way can the sperm and egg meet and fertilize in the tube and transport the embryo to the uterine cavity: the fimbria of the fallopian tube can collect the eggs in the pelvic fluid, the sperm and egg combine in the ampulla of the fallopian tube, and the fertilized egg divides into multiple cells while running along the fallopian tube to the uterine cavity, entering the uterine cavity after about 3 days.
