Why is my lower abdomen swollen and my chest painful?

Breast pain is a common phenomenon among female friends, and the reasons are varied. However, some women not only experience breast pain, but also lower abdominal pain. The occurrence of these two symptoms at the same time may be related to endocrine disorders. We know that due to the special physique of women, endocrine disorders are often very likely to occur. You can first understand the symptoms of endocrine disorders and make a comprehensive judgment based on your own situation.

Symptoms of endocrine disorders

The hormones secreted by the human endocrine system are normally balanced. These hormones, together with the nervous system, regulate the body's metabolism and physiological functions. Once the balance is broken, symptoms of endocrine disorders will appear. For women, symptoms of endocrine disorders include:

1. Skin deterioration: Women may get acne on their faces before and after the menstrual cycle or when they often stay up late. This is the result of endocrine disorders causing excessive sebum secretion, which cannot be discharged and blocks the hair follicles. The sudden appearance of many spots on the skin and a dark complexion may also be related to endocrine disorders.

2. Gynecological diseases: The hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis is a neuroendocrine system that regulates female menstruation. If any link is blocked, it will affect the normal physiological cycle and even lead to gynecological diseases such as irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, polycystic ovary syndrome, etc.

3. Breast diseases: Breast pain, breast hyperplasia and other breast diseases are related to multiple endocrine hormone disorders in the body, such as increased or relatively increased estrogen levels, or increased sensitivity of estrogen receptors in breast tissue to estrogen.

4. Excessive body hair: Men have more testosterone and women have less testosterone, so men and women have different characteristics. If the endocrine system is out of balance and women secrete too much male hormone, they may develop symptoms of excessive hair growth.

5. Premature gray hair: If the endocrine system is normal and more melanin is secreted, more melanin will be formed, and the hair color will naturally be dark and beautiful; otherwise, gray hair will grow.

6. Quick temper: If one's personality suddenly becomes very irritable and one gets furious over trivial matters, it is likely to be caused by endocrine dysfunction (especially hyperthyroidism).

7. Obesity: Obesity may be related to endocrine disorders. Eating high-calorie, high-fat foods and not paying attention to dietary balance can also affect the endocrine system and even induce various metabolic diseases.

8. Infertility: Ovulation disorders caused by various endocrine dysfunctions will directly lead to endocrine dysfunction infertility, mainly including androgen excess, androgen deficiency, androgen dysfunction and other diseases.
