Effect of gastric enlargement on the fetus

Effect of gastric enlargement on the fetus

We all know that when the fetus is small, it grows slowly in the amniotic fluid of the mother's womb. All the nutrients of the fetus need to be provided by the mother. If the mother has some diseases in her body, it will also affect the growth and development of the fetus. The mother should protect herself and not get sick, so as to ensure the healthy growth of the fetus. So, if the mother's gastric bubble is enlarged, will it affect the fetus?

From the size of the fetus, the biparietal diameter is larger than the normal gestational age, and the fetal heart rate and amniotic fluid index are both within the normal range. It is recommended that you control nutrition appropriately, and recheck the B-ultrasound after 2-4 weeks to observe the development of the fetus. Now it is mainly necessary to maintain a happy spirit, stable emotions, adequate sleep, a reasonable diet, good hygiene and labor protection, and prevent diseases, so as to ensure physical health and normal development of the fetus.

Gastric bubble refers to a physiological phenomenon that occurs in the stomach of the growing fetus.

There are generally two situations when the fetal gastric bubble is slightly larger.

1. Congenital pyloric hypertrophy of the fetus. This condition is often accompanied by an enlarged gastric cavity and increased gastric contents, and the enlargement of the gastric bubble is gradual.

2. It is a transient enlargement, also known as temporary gastric bubble enlargement, which is caused by the temporary storage of gastric contents and the decomposition of excessive gas.

You can follow the doctor's advice. Generally, the gas will disappear slowly. Many fetuses no longer have this condition after birth.

The specific situation still needs to be checked and follow the doctor's advice. Don't worry too much!
