Dull pain in lower abdomen after transplantation

Every woman longs to be a woman and to have a baby of her own. However, due to changes in the environment, changes in eating and living habits, mental factors, excessive stress, endocrine and other factors, they are unable to conceive children better. More couples use IVF and other methods to conceive. After transplantation, many women will pay too much attention to their abdomen and are too nervous. Let's talk about why there is a dull pain in the lower abdomen after transplantation and how to deal with it.

It is normal if the following conditions occur after IVF transplantation:

1. Abdominal pain after IVF transplant . Many patients often complain of abdominal discomfort or even abdominal pain after transplantation. They are worried that this situation will affect their pregnancy. In fact, these symptoms need to be treated differently. For example, mild abdominal pain, sometimes like a needle prick, in an uncertain location and at an uncertain time - this situation is generally not serious. Infertile patients tend to pay too much attention to their abdomen, which is actually a result of excessive mental stress. However, if the symptoms of discomfort gradually worsen, you should go to the hospital for treatment.

Experts from the Reproductive Medicine Center of the Air Force General Hospital said that if you have sudden and severe abdominal pain, you should go to the hospital immediately. If you experience abdominal pain after egg retrieval, you should be alert to internal bleeding. Sudden abdominal pain after egg retrieval and transplantation is often related to ovarian incarceration or torsion. It is common in patients who have more egg retrieval and ascites. 2. Bleeding after transplantation. After transplantation, you should pay attention to the following areas of bleeding: inflammation of the cervix and vagina, and bleeding from the needle hole during egg retrieval. Generally, the bleeding will not be too much, but there may be a small amount of bloody secretions. If the bleeding is heavy and lasts for a long time, you should go to the hospital to find out the location of the bleeding and, if necessary, undergo an ultrasound examination to see if there is intrauterine bleeding. Some patients worry that bleeding after transplantation is an ectopic pregnancy. It should be noted that during the period from transplantation to the day of HCG testing, there is no need to consider this issue. Even if an ectopic pregnancy occurs in the future, it is impossible to check, diagnose, or prevent it. As for treatment, it is out of the question. 3. Abdominal distension and chest tightness after transplantation. Abdominal distension after transplantation is mostly caused by factors such as progesterone injection, reduced intestinal motility, and excessive rest. After the transplant, you can rest for 2-3 days and then go back to work, as long as you don't do heavy physical labor and avoid activities that increase abdominal pressure. However, if the patient's estrogen level is too high on the day of HCG injection or too many eggs are retrieved, more attention should be paid. Be alert for the development of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). If the symptoms gradually worsen, you should go to the hospital immediately. 4. Constipation after transplantation.

Because progesterone drugs are needed to preserve the fetus after IVF transplantation, and patients tend to be more sedentary than active, have a more meticulous diet, and have reduced intestinal motility, which can sometimes lead to constipation. When the condition is mild, it can be corrected by adjusting the diet structure, such as eating more vegetables and fruits, a high-fiber diet, exercising moderately, and avoiding excessive bed rest.
