How to make a girl's voice sound better during the voice change period

A pleasant voice makes people feel like spring breeze, which is what many people desire to have. Talent is one aspect. Some people's voices are said to be kissed by angels. In fact, a beautiful and moving voice is not only related to innate genes, but acquired maintenance and care is also very important. What should you do if you want your child to have a nice voice during the voice change period?

Appearance can be maintained and talent can be cultivated, but a hoarse and unpleasant voice is not so easy to improve. When it comes to voice, besides talent, acquired care and training are also very important!

The period of transition from children's voice to human voice is called voice change, also known as puberty, which is determined by the human body's endocrine system (androgens and estrogens).

Menarche is the most obvious sign of voice change in girls, while voice changes and the appearance of beard are the most obvious signs of voice change in boys.

The average age for girls to change their voice is 10 to 18 years old, and the average age for boys to change their voice is 11 to 15 years old.

As the laryngeal cartilage enlarges during the voice change period, excessive stretching of the soft tissue can easily lead to thinning of the epithelium, congestion of the mucosal lamina propria, local edema, etc., and unbalanced development of the Adam's apple and vocal cords. During this period, you must take good care of your throat!

If a child wants to become a professional singer, it is best to start learning after the voice change period and when the vocal cords are stable, because the voice type before and after the voice change period will be very different.

"There are five main reasons that can cause damage to a child's voice," said Han Liyan: Overuse of the voice, such as speaking too high, too long, too loud, or too brightly; using the voice in the wrong way, such as over-crowding and using the power in the wrong place; diseases of the respiratory system, otolaryngology, gastrointestinal system, endocrine system, nervous system, etc. will all manifest in voice diseases; a child's personality and emotions are closely related to the voice; diet, climate, air pollution, environmental noise, stress, etc. are also factors that affect the voice.

Regarding daily voice care, Han Liyan put forward 11 small suggestions, suggesting that children should pay attention to it themselves and that parents and teachers should participate in the demonstration together.
