How to quickly relieve period pain

How to quickly relieve period pain

Many female friends around me suffer from menstrual pain. Every time they have their period, it affects their daily life and work. Working women with serious conditions have to take leave or adjust their rest days during their period because of the unbearable pain. In the long run, this will cause dissatisfaction among their leaders, and they will have to go to many hospitals for this. But is there any quick way to relieve the pain during menstruation to save our female compatriots from the pain?

1. Keep your waist warm

A woman's waist is slender and charming, but it is not only a landscape, it is also a sensitive area for health. If you often wear low-waist pants in autumn and winter, your waist and lower body will easily get cold, which will directly lead to uterine cold in women. Cold uterus in women can cause symptoms such as cold hands and feet, and dysmenorrhea.

2. Acupressure

The feet contain acupressure points that are believed to be connected to the qi pathways in the pelvic area. There are acupressure points in the depressions on both sides of the ankles. Gently pinch with your thumb and fingertips, and move up along the Achilles tendon to the calf muscle. After finishing the right foot, switch to the left foot and continue pressing each foot for a few minutes.

3. Hot compress therapy

I believe that female friends who suffer from dysmenorrhea have had this experience: placing a hot water bottle on the lower abdomen during dysmenorrhea, or lying on the bed with a heated blanket under the body and other heating methods can relieve dysmenorrhea! Hot water bottles and heated blankets have been used to effectively treat menstrual cramps for generations.

5. Drink yogurt and milk to relieve pain

Drinking yogurt and milk can basically relieve menstrual pain, because yogurt or milk mainly contains a lot of calcium, which can calm nerves and help balance the body's ions. During women's menstrual period, pain occurs due to excessive contraction of the uterine muscles. When women have their menstrual period, calcium is not easily absorbed due to calcium ion imbalance, decreased female hormones and increased progesterone. Therefore, drinking more yogurt and milk can help relieve menstrual pain.

6. Keep your abdomen warm

A cold lower body directly leads to cold uterus in women. In addition to cold hands and feet and dysmenorrhea, it can also cause a lack of libido and desire. The blood stasis caused by uterine cold leads to increased leucorrhea and a decline in the sanitary environment in the vagina, which in turn causes dysmenorrhea, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, etc. Therefore, by keeping the abdomen warm, women can avoid many gynecological diseases.

7. Keep the blood circulation in the lower body smooth and the private parts dry and breathable

Lack of exercise in the lower body can lead to pelvic congestion, aggravating dysmenorrhea. It is also not good for the heart and blood vessels, and can cause sagging breasts in women. In addition, the female genitals are moist all year round, and if they can be adequately ventilated, the possibility of gynecological diseases can be reduced. Excessive moisture in the private parts can easily lead to candidal vaginitis and cause dysmenorrhea in women. Try to avoid using non-breathable sanitary pads.

8. Eat properly and combine work and rest

Women should be "omnivores" in their diet, eating more than 4 kinds of fruits and vegetables every day, eating fish twice a week, and taking various grains and dairy products for breakfast, and appropriately supplementing with fiber, folic acid, vitamin C and vitamin E. Avoiding irritating foods such as fishy, cold, spicy, etc. during menstruation can effectively prevent dysmenorrhea. In addition, patients with dysmenorrhea should pay attention to ensure adequate sleep during menstruation. They can work and labor as usual, but should avoid strenuous exercise, such as playing ball, swimming, running, carrying heavy objects, etc., to avoid excessive menstrual bleeding or amenorrhea, which will lead to loss of Qi and blood or poor circulation of Qi and blood, and recurrent dysmenorrhea. Some white-collar women who suffer from abdominal pain during menstruation should not sit at a desk or computer for a long time. They should walk around appropriately to keep their qi and blood flowing.
