The ovulation period refers to the period of time when a woman's egg is released from the ovary and then survives in the fallopian tube. The 5 days before and after this period are called the ovulation period. If the woman's menstrual period is more accurate, her ovulation period is generally about half a month of the menstrual period. Some women experience nipple pain during ovulation, which is very disturbing. So what is the cause of nipple pain during ovulation? It is completely normal to have nipple pain during ovulation. The most painful moment is before and after ovulation, and it hurts when you touch it with your hand. The luteal phase is slightly less intense until menstruation occurs. The pain is the worst before and after ovulation. I don’t know if it’s the effect of estrogen. Estrogen levels are highest before and on the day of ovulation. After the corpus luteum is formed, due to the effect of progesterone, estrogen is not as high as before ovulation, so nipple pain is slightly relieved, but it will exist until menstruation comes. The breast is the target organ of endocrine hormones, which means that under normal circumstances, that is, during endocrine changes in the menstrual cycle, breast tissue will be affected by endocrine hormones and undergo physiological changes. The breast will undergo cyclical proliferation and involution during the menstrual cycle, which manifests as fullness and mild pain in the breast before menstruation. The breast pain will be reduced or disappear after menstruation. This physiological change is a normal phenomenon for women of childbearing age, but the degree of breast pain varies from person to person. And it does not rule out breast hyperplasia. Breast hyperplasia is a structural degeneration of breast tissue ducts and lobules and progressive proliferation of connective tissue. It causes breast fullness and mild pain before menstruation, and nipple pain in some cases. The breast pain will be relieved or disappear after menstruation. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that breast hyperplasia is caused by liver depression and qi stagnation, which stagnates in the breasts over time. It is recommended that you relax, eat a balanced diet, increase exercise and avoid fatigue. At present, the incidence of breast cancer in my country is increasing year by year. Regular breast cancer screening is conducted every year to achieve early detection and early treatment. Mitigation methods: 1. Wash your hands and use soapy water to scrub the outside of the nipple in a circular motion to the base of the breast (collarbone), washing the left and right breasts separately. Avoid washing the nipples with soap to avoid removing the protective oil on the outer layer, and pay attention to cleaning the scabs. 2. After cleaning, hold the breasts with your hands, and use your middle finger and index finger to massage from the base of the breast under the clavicle towards the nipple. Use your thumb and index finger to knead the nipple to increase its toughness. 3. When massaging, use the thumbs and index fingers of both hands to massage from the base of the breast towards the nipple, twice a day, 20 times each time. You can use a blunt-tooth comb to gently comb from the base of the breast to the nipple, which can also keep the mammary ducts unobstructed and facilitate postpartum breastfeeding. |
