Causes:

Its onset is related to fallopian tube inflammation, fallopian tube surgery, intrauterine contraceptive device placement, fallopian tube dysplasia or dysfunction, fertilized egg migration, and compression by tumors around the fallopian tube. (1) Chronic salpingitis: Severe salpingitis can cause complete blockage of the fallopian tubes, leading to infertility. In mild cases, the mucosal folds may adhere, causing the lumen to narrow, resulting in obstruction in the middle and implantation at that location. (2) Fallopian tube surgery: Various forms of fallopian tube sterilization may lead to tubal pregnancy if fallopian tube fistula or recanalization is formed. (3) Intrauterine contraceptive device placement: With the widespread use of intrauterine contraceptive devices, the incidence of ectopic pregnancy has increased, which may be related to salpingitis caused by placement. (4) Fallopian tube dysplasia or abnormal function: Fallopian tube dysplasia is often manifested as excessively long fallopian tubes, poor development of the muscular layer, and lack of mucosal cilia. Double fallopian tubes, diverticula, etc. can all be causes of fallopian tube pregnancy. (5) Migratory ovum: When one ovary releases an egg, if the fertilized egg migrates through the uterine cavity or abdominal cavity to the opposite fallopian tube, it is called migratory ovum. (6) Others: Tumors around the fallopian tubes, such as uterine fibroids or ovarian tumors, compress the fallopian tubes, affecting the patency of the fallopian tubes and obstructing the movement of the fertilized egg.

Symptoms: (1) Amenorrhea: Except for interstitial pregnancy with a long history of amenorrhea, most cases of amenorrhea last for 6 to 8 weeks. (2) Abdominal pain: It is the main reason for patients with tubal pregnancy to seek medical treatment. Before tubal pregnancy miscarriage or rupture, symptoms include dull pain or soreness in one side of the lower abdomen. When miscarriage or rupture occurs, the patient suddenly feels a tearing pain in one side of the lower abdomen. (3) Vaginal bleeding: Vaginal bleeding is often irregular, dark red in color, with a small amount of bleeding that is continuous and usually does not exceed the amount of menstruation. (4) Syncope and shock: Due to acute intra-abdominal bleeding and severe abdominal pain, the patient may suffer from syncope in mild cases and hemorrhagic shock in severe cases.
