What causes bleeding in the toilet during pregnancy?

Women who are pregnant for the first time will definitely be very scared if they find vaginal bleeding when going to the toilet. Many girls have poor psychological quality and are easily frightened by this phenomenon. In fact, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy can be mild or severe. At this time, you need to observe the amount of bleeding, whether there are symptoms of lower abdominal pain, etc. If there is only a small amount of bleeding and no obvious pain, it may be some minor vaginal inflammation, but if the bleeding is heavy, it may cause miscarriage, so it is best to see a doctor accompanied by your family instead of worrying at home.

What causes bleeding during pregnancy?

"It's bleeding!" My husband ran over quickly, looked at my belly, then at the ground, as if looking for any trace of blood! I really want to hit it with a hammer. If so much blood bleeds and drips onto the floor, how can it still be here? Really, although the amount of bleeding is not much, bleeding during pregnancy is still really stressful. Let’s take a look at what bleeding during pregnancy is all about.

In fact, it takes a long time for the fetus to grow from a small size to a big size in the mother's belly. Before the placenta is fully formed, embryo implantation is not as stable as imagined, so various factors can cause miscarriage. If bleeding occurs in early pregnancy, the first thing to consider is whether it is a threatened miscarriage. Because when miscarriage occurs, the embryo and the uterine wall will separate to varying degrees. At this time, if the blood vessels on the separation surface rupture, bleeding will occur.

1. Implantation bleeding. If you have just become pregnant, when the fertilized egg implants on the wall of the woman's uterus, you may have slight vaginal bleeding in the next 1-2 days, but at this stage it is difficult to know whether the vaginal bleeding is caused by pregnancy.

2. Miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Light bleeding or vaginal bleeding may be a sign of miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy, especially if it is accompanied by abdominal pain or cramping.

3. Infection. A small amount of vaginal bleeding may also be caused by vaginal infection or sexually transmitted infection, which can cause the vagina and cervix to become infected and inflamed. The inflamed tissue will cause a small amount of bleeding after a cervical smear test, vaginal examination or sexual intercourse.

4. Placental problems or premature birth. If a pregnant woman experiences vaginal bleeding or a small amount of bleeding during the second or third trimester, it may be a sign of a more serious condition. Such as placenta previa, placental abruption (the placenta separates from the uterine wall before the baby is delivered), late miscarriage (before 13 to 28 weeks of pregnancy), or premature birth (before 28 to 37 weeks of pregnancy).
