What is cervical hyperplasia?

What is cervical hyperplasia?

Cervical hyperplasia is a relatively common gynecological disease, which is quite harmful to women. It not only causes other symptoms, but also leads to infertility in women. There are many causes of cervical hyperplasia, the main one being chronic cervicitis. In addition, ovarian dysfunction, incomplete uterine involution, etc. also have an important relationship.

1) Chronic cervicitis irritation

If a woman develops chronic cervicitis, she may experience a series of problems such as cervical congestion and edema. At the same time, the cervical glands and stroma will proliferate, leading to varying degrees of hyperplasia and hypertrophy of the cervix.

(2) Ovarian dysfunction

Women may also develop uterine myometrial hypertrophy due to the continuous stimulation of estrogen. This problem is more common in female patients with uterine bleeding, especially those with a long course of disease and cervical hyperplasia.

(3) Pregnant women suffering from chronic uterine involution

It may cause the elastic fibers in the myometrium to proliferate around the smooth muscles and blood vessels, eventually leading to uterine and cervical hyperplasia in women.

The above is an introduction to what cervical hyperplasia is. Cervical hyperplasia is not a simple disease that can be ignored. After the problem of cervical hyperplasia occurs, it will cause patients to experience a series of uncomfortable symptoms such as abnormal leucorrhea, menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, etc. If you do not pay attention to timely treatment, it may even lead to a series of problems such as female infertility and miscarriage. In short, after the problem is discovered, it must be treated in time to avoid risks.
