What are the symptoms of candidal vaginitis?

In recent years, more and more women have suffered from gynecological diseases, which has brought a great blow to their lives. Gynecological diseases are very troublesome diseases, and the affected parts are inside the genitals, such as the vagina, uterus, appendages, etc. Among them, candidal vaginitis is the most common. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of candidal vaginitis.

Candidal vaginitis is a disease. There are currently two explanations for the recurrence of candidal vaginitis: one is due to frequent reinfection; the other is due to failure to completely eliminate the pathogenic bacteria after the last attack.

symptom:

1. When the symptoms of vulvar itching and burning pain are severe, the patient will be restless and suffer abnormal pain;

2. There may be frequent urination, dysuria and pain during sexual intercourse;

3. Increased leucorrhea. Typical leucorrhea is white, thick and resembles bean curd residue. During the examination, a white membrane-like substance can be seen attached to the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa, which is wiped off to reveal the red and swollen mucosal surface. In the acute phase, damaged erosive surfaces and shallow ulcers may be seen covered by a white membrane.

Clinical manifestations:

The most common symptoms of candidal infection are excessive vaginal discharge, burning and itching of the vulva and vagina, exogenous dysuria, and vulvar geographic erythema (fungal or candidal vulvovaginitis). Typical leucorrhea is curd-like or flaky, the vaginal mucosa is highly red and swollen, and white thrush-like plaques can be seen attached, which are easy to peel off. Underneath is an eroded base of damaged mucosa, or shallow ulcers may form. In severe cases, ecchymosis may remain. However, not all leucorrhea has the above typical characteristics. It can range from watery to curd-like leucorrhea. Some are completely thin and clear serous exudates, which often contain white flakes. The itching symptoms of candidal vaginitis during pregnancy are particularly severe, and may even cause restlessness and abnormal pain. There may also be symptoms such as frequent urination, painful urination, and pain during sexual intercourse. In addition, about 10% of women and 30% of pregnant women are carriers of mold but have no clinical symptoms.
