What are the symptoms of pregnancy during menstruation?

Once a woman becomes pregnant, there will be a series of obvious reactions due to changes in body hormones. One important manifestation is the cessation of menstruation. Once a woman successfully becomes pregnant, the next menstruation will not come regularly, and it will take some time after giving birth for menstruation to come normally. In addition, there will be many other manifestations after pregnancy.

1. Stopping of menstruation

The cessation of menstruation is the most obvious difference between pregnancy and premenstrual symptoms. If you are pregnant, you will not have menstruation during the entire pregnancy. If it is a premenstrual symptom, the worst that can happen is that your period is delayed, leading to missed periods, but they will eventually come. In addition, there is also the possibility of menstruation stopping due to temporary amenorrhea. At this time, you must seek medical attention in time to adjust your menstruation to avoid affecting women's health.

2. Morning sickness

The most obvious symptom in early pregnancy is morning sickness. Pregnant women are prone to nausea and vomiting, which is particularly obvious in the morning. Although nausea and even vomiting may occur during menstruation, it is not regular. It won’t be as severe or frequent as morning sickness.

3. Increased urination

Increased urination is a common symptom in early pregnancy, mainly because the growing fetus causes the uterus to become larger and compress the bladder. This symptom does not occur before menstruation. Therefore, increased urination is also the difference between early pregnancy and menstrual symptoms.

4. Lethargy

Drowsiness is also a common symptom in early pregnancy, and pregnant women will find that they can never get enough sleep no matter how much they sleep. Similar symptoms that occur before menstruation are at most fatigue and drowsiness, but not to the extent of sleepiness.

5. Breast enlargement

In the early stages of pregnancy, pregnant women will find that their breasts feel swollen and tingling, the color of their areola and nipples becomes darker, and their breasts become much larger. The most common pain you may experience before your period is breast tenderness, which is relatively mild.
