What is the role of breast puncture?

Breast biopsy is a common technique for breast examination. It is mainly used for screening of breast cancer, especially for patients with early breast cancer, and is of great significance. For suspected breast cancer, a breast biopsy can confirm the presence of cancer cells. The earlier breast cancer is screened out, the earlier the patient can receive treatment, and the cure rate will be greatly increased.

The role of breast puncture:

1. Many people worry that breast biopsy may cause cancer cells to spread. In fact, there is no need to worry about this at all. It has almost no possibility of causing spread and metastasis. Some experts say that the hollow needle used for breast puncture biopsy has a protective sheath on the outside, which can seal the tumor tissue inside the needle core when the needle is removed, thus preventing the tumor from implanting and metastasizing. Moreover, this type of puncture will not cause a lot of bleeding, so there is no need to worry about cancer cells spreading through the blood.

2. Breast cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in women, and there is a huge difference between early treatment and late treatment. Data show that many early breast cancer patients can survive for up to 30 years after receiving standardized comprehensive treatment. The five-year survival rate of stage I breast cancer patients exceeds 95%, while the five-year survival rate of stage IV patients is less than 20%. Therefore, early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment can reduce the risk of death from breast cancer, shorten treatment time, and reduce treatment costs. Many patients can even undergo breast-conserving surgery to preserve both breasts.

3. Clinical data show that among many cancers, breast cancer is the most likely to be cured. However, since many patients do not pay enough attention to the early symptoms of breast cancer, they are diagnosed with mid- to late-stage breast cancer after a puncture biopsy. They can only undergo a mastectomy and radiotherapy and chemotherapy to eliminate the remaining tumor cells in the body. During this treatment process, many people have to rely on ginsenoside RG3 to strengthen their physical fitness, reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, improve the effectiveness of surgery and chemotherapy, and control tumor growth and metastasis.
