Is uterine cancer the same as cervical cancer?

Is uterine cancer the same as cervical cancer?

Uterine cancer and cervical cancer are not the same. Cervical cancer mainly refers to the uterus and vagina, including malignant tumors of the cervical canal. This is also a common tumor in women. As for cervical cancer, it usually occurs in elderly women and is also called endometrial cancer. These two types of malignant tumors are extremely harmful to women, so we should do a good job of prevention and have regular physical examinations.

The symptoms during the development period are the same as those of cervical cancer. Most patients with cervical cancer have varying degrees of increased vaginal discharge and irregular vaginal bleeding. The early manifestations are a small amount of bloody leucorrhea and contact vaginal bleeding. Patients often come to the doctor because of a small amount of vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse or defecation.

Warm reminder: Cervical cancer and uterine cancer are different, so women need to do a good examination before treatment to find out whether it is cervical cancer or uterine cancer before treatment.
