What are the early symptoms of cervical cancer?

If you want to understand your own physical condition, you should know more about the symptoms of the disease so that you can discover it in time. Cervical cancer also has some symptoms in the early stages, such as cervical erosion, contact bleeding, irregular vaginal bleeding, etc. If similar symptoms occur, you should go to a regular hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time.

Early symptoms of cervical cancer

Cervical cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in women. The cause of the disease is still unclear. Women who marry early, have early children, have multiple births, and have disordered sexual life have a higher incidence rate. There are no symptoms in the early stages, but abnormal vaginal bleeding may occur in the later stages. The current treatment options are mainly surgery and radiotherapy, and a combination of Chinese and Western medicine can also be used, but the cure rate for patients in the middle and late stages is very low. As women, we must keep ourselves clean, strengthen our health care, pay attention to regular gynecological examinations, and seek medical treatment in time if we find any symptoms.

Early symptoms

1. Accompanied by cervical erosion: Generally, cervical cancer patients are often accompanied by cervical erosion. Severe cervical erosion is the main cause of cancer. Young women with long-term untreated cervical erosion, or those who still have cervical erosion after menopause, should be given sufficient attention.

2. Contact bleeding: Contact bleeding is the most prominent symptom of cervical cancer. About 70%-80% of cervical cancer patients have vaginal bleeding. It often manifests as vaginal discharge mixed with blood after sexual intercourse, gynecological examination, or when straining to defecate. If elderly women experience bleeding after sexual intercourse, they should not always assume that it is caused by improper force during sexual intercourse and ignore the possibility of cervical cancer. If you bleed after every sexual intercourse, you should pay more attention and seek medical attention in time.

3. Irregular vaginal bleeding: Elderly women who have been in menopause for many years suddenly have their periods again for no apparent reason. The amount of bleeding is often small and is not accompanied by symptoms such as abdominal pain or back pain, so it is very easy to be ignored. In fact, this irregular vaginal bleeding is often an early sign of cervical cancer. Many elderly patients come to the hospital for treatment due to this symptom, and receive early diagnosis and timely treatment. Therefore, the elderly should be highly vigilant.
