Do women still ovulate after menopause?

If a woman experiences amenorrhea, she will no longer ovulate, but we should also pay attention to understand the causes so that we can treat and solve them in time. Especially when she is still a teenager, she should pay more attention to these reproductive health issues.

1. Will women continue to ovulate during menopause? Will women ovulate during menopause? Can they have a baby? Amenorrhea is generally a common symptom caused by disease. Many women without children worry about whether they will ovulate in this situation. So will ovulation occur during menopause? No ovulation will occur, so it is natural that infertility will occur. Therefore, once such a situation occurs, timely treatment is required.

2. Amenorrhea will affect the fertility of women. If amenorrhea is not cured in time, women will not be able to conceive. Do not take it lightly. If the state of amenorrhea continues, the uterus and ovaries will begin to atrophy and their functions will gradually deteriorate. If there is no menstruation, women who want to get pregnant will not be able to conceive without ovulation, resulting in infertility.

3. Amenorrhea is also accompanied by chills, pale and dry skin, bradycardia, low blood pressure, slow reaction, etc., which are mostly caused by insufficient secretion of thyroid-stimulating hormone. Obesity, hirsutism or macrocytosis, acromegaly, hypertension, rough skin, and polycythemia are mostly caused by pituitary tumors.

4. Methods for treating amenorrhea include estrogen therapy: used for younger patients with lower estrogen levels. Progestin therapy is used for patients who have a certain amount of estrogen secretion. Estrogen-progestin therapy uses estrogen and progesterone sequentially to induce menstrual-like withdrawal bleeding.

5. Amenorrhea may also be caused by mental factors, so it can be adjusted by improving nutrition, strengthening physical fitness, avoiding mental stress and excessive fatigue, etc. For those who suffer from amenorrhea due to oral contraceptives, the medication should be stopped and observed.
