What to do if pregnant women have skin allergies on their faces

Many people are concerned about the health of pregnant women, but most people don’t know what to do when pregnant women have skin allergies on their faces. In this case, you must first stay away from allergens. At the same time, we should also pay attention to the cautious use of drugs and try not to use them during special periods.

1. Due to the influence of hormonal changes after pregnancy, short-term allergic skin inflammation often occurs. Skin allergies in pregnant women will not affect the fetus, but they are more difficult to treat. Removing the inducing factors is the best way to treat allergies. The method is simple but not easy to do. It requires patience and carefulness, and even cooperation with a doctor to find the allergens.

2. Some drugs can enter the placenta through the pregnant woman's skin, hindering the growth and development of the fetus, or directly damaging certain organs, thereby causing fetal malformations or diseases. Therefore, when pregnant women experience allergic reactions, they should go to the hospital for treatment in time.

3. In addition, you should also pay attention to your diet. If you have had allergic reactions to certain foods in the past, you should avoid eating them during pregnancy. If you experience itching all over your body, palpitations, shortness of breath, etc. after eating certain foods, you should stop eating these foods immediately. Do not eat foods that are prone to allergies, such as seafood.

4. For expectant mothers, both topical and oral medications must be used with caution. If you suffer from allergic diseases, you must take medication under the guidance of a dermatologist. If the condition is mild, you can apply calamine lotion or Softmax lotion externally, or take promethazine, cyproheptadine, cetirizine or vitamin C orally. If the condition is serious, intramuscular injection of calcium vitrin or intravenous injection of 10% calcium gluconate can be used.
