Do you know about estrogen levels during menopause?

As we all know, when women reach menopause, the estrogen levels in their bodies will change, and it is this change that will lead to a series of abnormal conditions. However, many people do not know what the levels of estrogen are, so it is necessary to popularize relevant knowledge for everyone.

1. Normal values of six hormones

1) Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH): 1.5~10mIU/ml in the preovulatory period, 8~20mIU/ml in the ovulatory period, and 2~10mIU/ml in the postovulatory period. Generally, 5~40mIU/ml is considered a normal value.

2) Luteinizing hormone (LH): 2~15mIU/ml in the preovulatory period, 30~100mIU/ml in the ovulatory period, and 4~10mIU/ml in the postovulatory period. The normal value in the non-ovulatory period is 5~25mIU/ml.

3) Prolactin (PRL): During the non-lactation period, the normal value of blood PRL is 0.08~0.92nmol/L.

4) Estradiol (E2): The concentration of blood E2 is 48~521 pmol/L in the preovulatory period, 70~1835 pmol/L in the ovulatory period, and 272~793 pmol/L in the postovulatory period.

5) Progesterone (P): The blood P concentration is 0~4.8nmol/L before ovulation and 7.6~97.6nmol/L after ovulation.

6) Testosterone (T): The normal concentration of testosterone in female blood is 0.7~3.1nmol/L.

2. The physiological function of normal levels of estrogen is to help the development of reproductive organs. So estrogen is a reproductive hormone. Why do women ovulate once in a menstrual cycle? It's related to estrogen. Why can't some women with infertility have children? This is because the estrogen level in her body is not high enough to trigger ovulation. So estrogen is also related to reproduction.

However, according to current research, estrogen is also involved in the metabolism of multiple tissues and organs in the body. It has been found that more than 200 tissues and organs have estrogen receptors, such as the liver, kidneys, heart, blood vessel walls, brain tissue, nervous system, bones, and even eyes and intestines. Therefore, human aging may be related to the lack of estrogen. When estrogen is deficient, these tissues and organs begin to age and their functions decline, making people more susceptible to illness. Therefore, estrogen is not only related to reproduction, but also to the metabolism of the whole body.

3. Low estrogen level can be treated with the traditional Chinese medicine Yugong Peilin Pills. This is related to long-term deficiency of qi and blood, which is caused by malnutrition. Or it may be caused by excessive bleeding. Many Chinese medicines can be used to make up for the insufficient secretion of estrogen in women. It is definitely not good to take artificial estrogen. You should seek treatment from a Chinese medicine practitioner. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this is a case of kidney yin deficiency and excessive fire. It can be treated with Chinese patent medicine. Eat less spicy and irritating food and more nutritious food.

4. During menopause, estrogen levels decrease, which can lead to calcium loss, causing symptoms such as dizziness, hot flashes, night sweats, memory loss, and insomnia.

5. A healthy adult woman has the ability to secrete estrogen and maintain a delicate balance. But too much estrogen is not a good thing either. Women with too much estrogen often experience symptoms where their brains are easily in a state of tension. If the body's estrogen level is too high, the balance between estrogen and progesterone will be unbalanced, which can seriously lead to breast cancer.
