Many of you may not have heard of this disease. Breast fibrocystic disease is mainly caused by changes in the fibrous tissue around the breast, which expands and causes lumps. If female friends feel any discomfort in their breasts in daily life, they should go to a regular hospital for diagnosis in time. Diagnosis basis/fibrocystic breast (1) Breast fibrocysts are common in adolescent females, most commonly between the ages of 18 and 25. (2) Breast fibroadenoma usually occurs in one breast, is usually solitary, and is most common in the upper outer quadrant of the breast. The lumps are often round or oval in shape, of varying sizes, hard in texture, smooth in surface, with clear boundaries, wide range of motion, no adhesion to surrounding tissues, and no pain or tenderness. It grows slowly and does not fester or ulcerate. Not related to the menstrual cycle. (3) Molybdenum target X-ray and other imaging examinations can assist in diagnosis. If necessary, needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of the tumor can be performed to finally confirm the diagnosis. It should also be noted that if women over 35 years old, especially those after menopause, develop breast lumps, even if the characteristics of the breast lumps are very similar to breast fibroadenoma, this diagnosis should not be made lightly and requires a clear diagnosis by a doctor. |
