How to apply liquid eyeliner: The order of application must not be messed up

When putting on makeup, people will spend a lot of time drawing eyeliner, and usually use liquid eyeliner. This method of drawing eyeliner is the simplest, but even so, there are still many people who don’t know how to use liquid eyeliner correctly. The following will teach you the correct way to draw.

Step 1: First apply mascara to the upper eyelashes. As shown in the picture, use your fingertips to pull the upper eyelid slightly upwards, and try not to blink. Apply a few more layers to make your eyelashes thicker and longer!

Step 2: Start drawing the eyeliner by gently pulling the eyelid skin outwards to provide a smooth surface for drawing the eyeliner. Start from the outer corner of the eye and gently draw towards the center, then start from the inner corner of the eye and draw towards the center.

Friendly tip: Don’t rush to finish the painting in one step, but outline the outline first like a sketch, and then you can complete it perfectly.

Step 3: While the eyeliner is still wet, use a cotton swab to pull along the upward direction of the eyeliner to create a cat-eye effect.

Step 4: Follow the curve drawn by the cotton swab and draw the eyeliner again from the outer corner of the eye to make it look more complete.

Basic method of applying liquid eyeliner:

1. Shake the bottle

The first step in using liquid eyeliner is to shake the bottle to make the liquid shake evenly.

2. Scrape off excess liquid

After pulling out the eyeliner brush head, scrape off the excess eyeliner to make the eyeliner uniform in thickness.

3. Clean the pen body

The pen body covered with liquid eyeliner can easily get on the eyelids, and liquid eyeliner dries quickly and is difficult to wipe off.

4. Practice drawing

For those who are trying liquid eyeliner for the first time, you can first draw a few strokes on the back of your hand to get familiar with how to apply liquid eyeliner.

5. Create an upward effect

Start drawing the eyeliner from 1/3 of the way to the corner of the eye, and create an effect of highlighting the upward curve of the tail of the eye.

6. Draw from the end of the eye to the corner of the eye

Slowly draw from the upper eyeliner to the corner of the eye, close to the root of the eyelashes, and thicken the line at the end of the eye.

7. Draw the lower eyeliner

The lower eyeliner is easy to smudge, so you need to apply powder to prevent the liquid eyeliner from smudged.

8. Wipe with a paper towel

If it gets on your face, immediately wipe away any excess liquid with a damp cloth or the corner of a tissue.
