Symptom 5: Ulcers on the surface of the genitals. It often manifests as a hard lump about 1 cm in diameter appearing on the labia majora or the inner side of the labia minora, with slight ulceration on the surface. This kind of ulcer is medically known as "chancre", which is a special manifestation of early syphilis. The most typical symptoms are dark red spots on the palms and soles of the feet, with peeling around the area.
