Why do I have mature follicles but no ovulation?

Some married women often cannot get pregnant normally after marriage, and some people’s examination results show that their follicles do not ovulate. Then they will wonder why they cannot ovulate even though they are running around? So what is the cause of this?

1. One of the reasons why follicles do not ovulate is poor follicular development. The symptoms of follicular hypoplasia include: the follicles do not develop and are only at a very small level; the follicles develop but are immature, with a diameter often less than 18 mm; the follicles are not round, but are oval or even "date-shaped", and have no fertilization ability; the follicles are mature, but do not rupture and cannot ovulate.

2. Another reason why follicles do not ovulate is due to the lack of certain hormones. In addition, the lack and damage of female ovaries, or ovarian diseases can cause women to not ovulate.

3. The fallopian tube is blocked, resulting in the inability to discharge eggs. Or the follicle may be affected by adverse factors during its growth process, causing it to suddenly stop developing and become unable to release eggs.

4. Some ovarian diseases, such as polycystic ovary syndrome, can affect the normal ovulation of women's ovaries, cause ovulation disorders, and make patients infertile.

5. A woman's ovarian follicles can develop and mature smoothly, but they cannot rupture naturally or be discharged naturally, or empty follicles appear after the egg is discharged.
