What causes breast cystic nodules?

Breast cystic nodules are a problem that many women are prone to, which also includes symptoms of diseases such as breast hyperplasia or breast fibroadenoma. What is more important for women is to do a comprehensive examination and then receive treatment after diagnosis.

1. Solid breast nodules In clinical practice, smaller tumors are usually called nodules , and nodules can occur in any part of the body. Smaller breast lumps may be called "breast nodules." Many women discover breast nodules through B-ultrasound or specialist physical examinations. For example, breast B-ultrasound describes low-echo nodules, solid nodules, etc. Some women who pay attention to self-examination can even feel hard nodules in the breast during self-examination. They feel at a loss and become nervous and come to the doctor for treatment. So what exactly are breast nodules? In fact, breast nodules are morphological changes in breast tissue. They are an ambiguous diagnostic term or a clinical manifestation. In other words, breast "nodules" are just a symptom, not a diagnosis of the disease (i.e. the name of the disease).

2. Many breast lesions can cause solid breast nodules. Including: breast hyperplasia, breast fibroadenoma, plasma cell mastitis, breast cancer, etc. Due to the high incidence of breast cancer nowadays and one of the symptoms of breast cancer is the discovery of nodules in the breast, patients often become anxious when they hear the word "nodule", but this is actually not necessary.

3. Different breast diseases often have their own characteristics in the form of "nodules", and when we diagnose a disease, breast "nodules" are only one of the diagnostic bases. In addition, we also need to understand whether the patient has pain, nipple discharge, etc., and we need to combine auxiliary examinations such as: B-ultrasound, molybdenum target, discharge smear, fine needle aspiration cytology, and even pathological biopsy histology to make a clear diagnosis. Moreover, some "nodules" often have morphological differences, so the doctor's feel will also be different during palpation.
