What should I do if I have high blood lipids during pregnancy? Women can do this

Some women have a particularly good appetite after they become pregnant and eat a lot of nutritious food every day. Others like to eat junk food. Such behavior can easily lead to high blood lipids. So what should pregnant women do if they have high blood lipids?

1. Human lipids include fats and lipids. Hyperlipidemia is most closely related to diet. The accumulation of human body fat and the source of some lipids mainly come from diet. Only a portion of lipids are synthesized in the body, called endogenous lipids. In addition, during pregnancy, the amount of food consumed generally increases. Therefore, controlling diet is very important for the prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia. The diet advocates a light diet and basically a vegetarian diet. However, it is not advisable to be a vegetarian for a long time, otherwise the dietary composition will be incomplete, which may cause an increase in endogenous cholesterol. Eat more celery, onion, loofah and other high-fiber foods that lower blood lipids. Try to eat light food. Do not eat things with shells, such as shrimp, crabs, walnuts, etc. You can eat lean meat, but do not cook it with fat.

2. It is advisable to limit high-fat, high-cholesterol foods, such as animal brains, egg yolks, chicken livers, butter, etc. Fat intake should be limited to 30 to 50 grams per day. Sugary foods should also be limited, and sweets and snacks should not be eaten. Eat more vegetables and fruits. A low-salt diet is recommended, and soybean oil, peanut oil, rapeseed oil, sesame oil, etc. are recommended as cooking oil. Eat in moderation, and eat only enough for each meal to make you feel hungry half an hour before the last meal. It is not advisable to use starvation therapy, as excessive hunger will accelerate the decomposition of body fat and increase blood fat acid.

3. The catechin contained in tea can enhance the flexibility, elasticity and permeability of blood vessels, and prevent vascular sclerosis. Theophylline and caffeine in tea can stimulate the mind, promote blood circulation, relieve fatigue and have a diuretic effect. It is recommended to drink green tea in moderation. But drinking too much strong tea will stimulate the heart, speed up the heartbeat, and be harmful to the body. Pregnant women in particular should not drink excessive tea.
