Can a virgin have leucorrhea? Let you know the knowledge that women must know

Leucorrhea is a kind of secretion secreted by women. It is normal for women to have leucorrhea in their vagina. It has nothing to do with whether they are virgins or not. However, the amount of leucorrhea in some young girls is relatively small, and the amount of leucorrhea will increase significantly after sexual intercourse.

1. Why do virgins have leucorrhea? Leucorrhea is the normal secretion of the female vagina. Both virgins and non-virgins have leucorrhea. Under normal circumstances, the amount is very small, white, sticky, and odorless. It contains mucus secreted by the cervix, exudates from the vaginal mucosa, epidermal cells shed from the uterus and vagina, as well as a small amount of white blood cells and non-pathogenic vaginal bacilli.

2. How to check abnormal leucorrhea of a virgin? 1. Pathological abnormality If the leucorrhea is pathological, that is, the color of the leucorrhea has changed, becoming yellow, yellow-green, etc., and is accompanied by a peculiar smell or odor, then you should go to the hospital for active treatment. 2. Physiological abnormalities If it is a physiological leucorrhea abnormality, then do not use medication for treatment, because during the secretion period, the leucorrhea will appear stringy, which is different from the usual shape of leucorrhea. But it will return to normal after the secretion period.

3. What to do if a virgin has abnormal leucorrhea? 1. Drug treatment ① Trichomonas vaginitis Trichomonas exists in the glands of the vaginal folds and cervix, and also in the urethra and intestines, so it should be treated both internally and externally. A. Oral use of anti-trichomonal drugs. After taking the medicine, test for Trichomonas. If the result is negative, the patient should continue treatment for one course after the next menstruation to consolidate the therapeutic effect. B. Simultaneous local treatment. ② For candidal vaginitis, you can use soda solution to rinse the vulva and vagina or take a sitz bath. After gently drying, place a nystatin suppository deep in the vagina, or apply nystatin cream on the vaginal wall, once a night or once in the morning and evening for a total of 10 to 14 days. ③ Metronidazole can be taken orally as an optional drug for nonspecific vaginitis. It can also be treated with local medication. 2. Change the acidity and alkalinity of the vagina. The most suitable pH value for Candida growth is 5.5. The weakly acidic environment of the vagina can maintain the self-cleaning function of the vagina. The normal pH is 3.7-4.5. Therefore, it is advisable to use a weak acid formula feminine care solution with a pH ≤ 4. In addition to being suitable for daily cleaning and maintenance, the use of a weak acid formula feminine care solution during treatment will have an inhibitory effect on the growth and reproduction of fungi. When going to the toilet, wipe the vulva with feminine hygiene wipes and keep it dry to inhibit the growth of Candida.
