4 symptoms of adnexitis to watch out for

Adnexitis refers to inflammation of the ovaries and fallopian tubes and is also a common gynecological disease. Adnexitis belongs to pelvic inflammatory disease, so the symptoms of adnexitis are somewhat similar to those of pelvic inflammatory disease. In the early stages of adnexitis, symptoms such as abdominal pain and fever may also occur.

1. Fever

Chronic inflammation can cause uterine fibrosis, incomplete recovery or adhesion, resulting in abnormal position of the uterus, which can lead to excessive menstrual flow in women. 4. Pain

During gynecological examination, there is obvious tenderness and rebound pain in the adnexal area. Routine blood tests can show an increase in white blood cell count and a significantly increased neutrophil ratio.
