All the precautions for kidney stones are here!

Kidney stones are one of the most common diseases in life. They cause great pain to patients and have a great impact on their lives. So in order to effectively prevent and treat kidney stones, what should we pay attention to?

1. Drink more water

Patients with kidney stones must pay attention to drinking more water, more than 3500 ml of water a day, to increase urine output. Because the increase in urine volume will prevent crystals from forming stones and depositing.

2. Avoid eating foods that cause stones

Patients with kidney stones should eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, avoid pork, pork liver, beef, pork kidney, duck, goose meat, and various broths, gravy, sardines, etc.; avoid eating spinach, peas, lentils and other beans, cauliflower, asparagus, etc.; avoid drinking alcohol and beverages containing calcium, strong tea, and coffee; avoid calcium intake, such as milk, tofu, dried shrimps, kelp, and fatty meat.

3. Limit sugar intake

As everyone knows, sugar is an important nutrient in the body. Studies in recent years have confirmed that there is a close relationship between stones and increased sugar consumption, that is, sugar can promote the formation of urinary stones. Therefore, patients with urinary stones should limit their sugar intake.

4. Avoid spicy food

Onions, ginger, leeks, onions, peppers, etc. are all spicy and hot products that can aggravate the patient's internal dampness and heat, flow into the bladder, decoct body fluids, and form stones, so they should be avoided.
