Kidney disease can not eat these fruits, will aggravate the condition

The kidneys are important organs in the human body. They help the body excrete toxic substances and promote metabolism. However, if you do not eat properly in your daily life, it may increase the burden on your kidneys and cause disease. Therefore, patients with kidney disease must pay attention to their diet and not eat these fruits!

1. Apple

Apples contain a lot of vitamin C. Taking vitamin C every day can improve immunity and prevent colds. However, patients with kidney stones should avoid eating too much, because part of it can be metabolized into oxalic acid after consumption, which will aggravate the condition of patients with urinary stones.

2. Oranges

Oranges are cool in nature and taste sweet and sour. People suffering from kidney stones, urinary stones and bladder stones should not eat oranges. This is because oranges contain a large amount of vitamin C, whose metabolites can easily combine with calcium ions metabolized in the body to form stones, thereby aggravating the condition.

3. Banana

Bananas are nutritious, sweet and delicious. They help reduce mental stress and help relieve depression! However, because it contains more sodium salt, patients with nephritis who suffer from edema and hypertension must limit their sodium salt intake. Therefore, for people with acute or chronic nephritis or poor renal function, regular consumption of this food will increase the burden on the kidneys and aggravate the symptoms. In addition, bananas have the effect of moisturizing the intestines, so patients with indigestion and diarrhea should eat less bananas.

4. Hami melon

Hami melon is rich in nutrients. Regular consumption is not only good for the human heart and liver, but also has a good auxiliary therapeutic effect on diseases such as stomach problems, anemia, and constipation. But for patients with chronic renal failure, fasting is something like that. Due to abnormal renal excretion and regulation functions, these patients often experience oliguria or anuria clinically, which causes potassium metabolism disorders in the body. Due to low urine output, potassium cannot be excreted in time, causing excessive potassium to remain in the body, leading to hyperkalemia. Excessive potassium ions can cause heart dysfunction and even be life-threatening. The potassium ion content in Hami melon is quite high, with about 250 mg of potassium in every 100 grams of melon flesh. This will not cause any reaction in people with normal renal function, but after eating it, high blood potassium will cause cardiovascular disease in patients with renal failure. Therefore, patients with renal failure should not eat Hami melon.

5. Pineapple

Commonly known as pineapple, it is mild in nature, sweet and slightly astringent in taste. The sugar and enzyme contained in pineapple has a certain diuretic effect, which is beneficial for people with nephritis and hypertension. However, its peel is rich in bromelain, which can dissolve fibrin and casein. Patients with kidney disease should not eat too much.

6. Pomegranate

Common names include An pomegranate, sweet pomegranate and sour pomegranate. Warm in nature, sweet or sour in taste. The main ingredients include sugar, protein, fat, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, etc. Pomegranate is sweet and sour, which helps to eliminate the disadvantage of fire causing phlegm. People with urinary tract infections should only eat clearing foods and avoid warm and astringent foods, so don't eat pomegranates. In addition, pomegranates are high in potassium, so patients with high blood potassium should not eat them. Patients with kidney disease should avoid eating some fruits that are high in potassium and sodium, such as hawthorn, peach, persimmon, etc. This is because hyperkalemia can cause sudden death in patients, and high sodium intake can aggravate renal failure in patients, so be sure to pay attention!
