Too much supplementation is not good either, as excess nutrition is harmful

Overnutrition means that the nutrients we consume exceed the nutrients our body needs. Malnutrition or overnutrition are both harmful to our health. So what harm will overnutrition have on our body?

Excess nutrition leads to obesity:

1. Excessive fat intake. Due to the improvement of living standards, people have poor dietary control and consume too much high-fat food, which leads to endocrine metabolic abnormalities, causing a large accumulation of fat in the body and contributing to obesity. Especially the wealthy people in wealthy areas, who consume too much animal food and consume less energy through labor, suffer from excessive accumulation of fat in the body, i.e. obesity.

2. When people are infants and young children, excessive nutrition causes fat cells to be stimulated and increase in size. This increase in size is difficult to reverse and lays the foundation for obesity in adulthood.

3. Excessive intake of sugars, especially mono- and disaccharides, such as glucose and sucrose. Because there are too many of these sugars, they cannot all be oxidized and released as heat energy in the body. The excess is converted into fat and stored in the body, causing body fat to increase. At the same time, sugar can promote the secretion of insulin, which further promotes the synthesis of fat, accelerates the accumulation of fat, and ultimately leads to obesity.

Excessive nutrition in pregnant women leads to overweight mother and baby:

A direct consequence of overnutrition in pregnant women is obesity, which not only increases the risk of gestational diabetes and pregnancy-induced hypertension, but is also not conducive to fetal growth and may also cause difficulties during delivery. It will also make it difficult for pregnant women to recover after childbirth and cause them to become too fat. Overnutrition may also lead to the birth of a giant baby, increase the possibility of dystocia, and make birth injuries more likely. Macrosomia are prone to hypoglycemia and hypocalcemia after birth, and it will increase the burden on the child's heart. They are prone to obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease in adulthood. Therefore, pregnant women should pay attention to their diet to control the weight of the fetus. They should diversify their diet and eat natural foods as much as possible. They should eat less high-salt, high-sugar and irritating foods, especially some high-sugar fruits. It is best not to increase the amount of food, but you can eat more complementary foods.
