What is breast sagging?

Everyone has different aesthetic views on body shape. Every woman is always pursuing beauty, and breasts are the best way to show the beauty of female curves. However, in life, many women do not pay attention to body care and have irregular diet, which can easily lead to sagging breasts. This will seriously affect their own image. However, everyone has a different definition of beauty. Let's learn about what is considered sagging breasts.

What is breast sagging?

According to the degree of breast sagging, it can be divided into three degrees: Grade I: Breast sagging, the nipple is parallel to the breast inflection line. Grade II: The nipple is lower than the inflection line of the skin under the breast, but higher than the lowest point of the breast. Grade III: The nipple is located at the lowest point of the breast. However, some cases of breast sagging, especially those with distal breast hypertrophy, may have more severe sagging but the nipple is still not at the lowest point of the breast. This should also be considered as Grade III sagging.

There are generally three types of breast sagging: spindle-shaped breast sagging, triangular-shaped breast sagging and horn-shaped breast sagging.

Fusiform breast ptosis is a type of breast ptosis characterized by shortening of the transverse diameter of the breast base. The circular coronal plane at the base of the breast is smaller than the coronal plane at the distal end of the breast, resembling a spindle, hence the name spindle-shaped breast ptosis. This type of breast ptosis deformity is caused by the herniation of breast tissue into the subcutaneous area of the areola, and is often accompanied by large areola syndrome. It is more common in young and middle-aged women after breastfeeding.

Bandana breast ptosis is a condition in which the entire breast becomes flat, like a bandana hanging on the chest wall, hence the name. The coronal plane of the breast base is an oblong shape, the longitudinal diameter of the breast is larger than the transverse diameter, and there is no obvious herniation of breast tissue into the subcutaneous tissue of the areola area. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly women, especially postmenopausal women.

The above is an introduction to what is considered sagging breasts. After understanding it, we can better observe and control our body shape. In addition, if women want to show off their body shape better, it is best to massage their breasts. At the same time, they should also maintain good living habits and eat more protein-rich foods.
