The disease of uterine hypertrophy is the discomfort caused by congestion and swelling of the uterus. As we all know, when a woman is pregnant, the uterus is the part that nurtures the fetus. So once something happens, the first thing people think of is whether it will have a big impact on pregnancy and childbirth. Without understanding the situation, they will feel anxious. So, can I still have children if I have an enlarged uterus? Pure cervical hypertrophy will not affect pregnancy, you can consider having children, but severe cervical hypertrophy can cause endometritis, salpingo-oophoritis, fallopian tube adhesions, blockage, leading to infertility, you must first cure it before considering having children In general, for conditions such as uterine hypertrophy, conservative physical therapy or minimally invasive surgery such as the Leek knife should be considered; androgen therapy can reduce bleeding. If conservative treatment fails, total hysterectomy may be considered. For those under 50 years old with normal ovaries, they should be retained. 1. Drug treatment is suitable for mild erosion, the method is as follows: 1. Carefully apply 10-30% silver nitrate solution or 10% iodine to the affected area with a cotton swab. After using silver nitrate, apply normal saline to convert excess silver nitrate into non-corrosive silver chloride. Take twice a week, 4 to 6 times as a course of treatment, and repeat if necessary. 2. Dip a cotton swab in potassium dichromate solution and carefully apply it to the affected area. Apply the medicine once after the menstruation is over and repeat after the next menstruation. It is sometimes more effective for those with larger erosion areas. Before applying the medicine, wipe the cervical mucus with 0.1% chlorhexidine, and place two cotton balls in the posterior fornix to prevent the medicine from flowing down and burning the vaginal mucosa. After finishing, take out the cotton ball and wipe the applied area with a 75% alcohol cotton swab (formula: 10g potassium dichromate, 75ml concentrated sulfuric acid, add water to 100ml). 2. For patients with cervical hypertrophy, deep and extensive erosion involving the cervical canal, and/or suspected malignant changes, cervical cone resection can be performed. Remove the tissue and send it for pathological examination. This method leaves a smaller scar and the cervix can remain in its original shape after surgery. As for whether you can still have children if you have uterine hypertrophy, everyone knows that it generally has no impact. This condition is based on the fact that uterine hypertrophy has not become more serious, so everyone must treat this disease well. If it is not treated properly, it is easy to cause inflammation, which will have a great impact on pregnancy. |
