What are the symptoms of female breast lobular hyperplasia

Generally, middle-aged women are more likely to suffer from lobular breast hyperplasia because this is the age group when women's sexual function is the strongest. Adolescents and postmenopausal women are less likely to suffer from lobular breast hyperplasia. In addition, the onset of lobular breast hyperplasia has a lot to do with the patient's usual mood and diet. Learn to relieve your emotional stress and pay attention to a healthy diet. Many women still don’t know what the symptoms of lobular breast hyperplasia are. Let’s take a look.

The main clinical manifestations of female breast lobular hyperplasia are: breast fullness and pain 5-7 days before menstruation, relief of breast pain during menstruation, or even disappearance, and cyclical changes occur again before the next menstruation. Generally there are three manifestations:

Breast pain

One or both breasts may be distended, tingling, or painful. The pain may be so severe that the breast cannot be touched or walked. The pain may be mainly in the form of a lump in the breast and may radiate to the armpits, chest, ribs, shoulders, back, and upper limbs. Some may also present as nipple pain or itching. The pain may fluctuate with mood and menstrual cycle and is often more severe before menstruation and significantly reduced or disappears after menstruation. However, a small number of people experience bloating and pain about a week after menstruation.

Breast lumps

Single or multiple lumps in one or both breasts, mostly located on the outer and upper part of the breast, in the form of flakes, nodules, granules or cords, with flakes being the most common. The lumps have unclear boundaries, are medium or slightly hard, are movable and have no adhesion to the surrounding tissues, may be tender, and vary in size, from as small as a grain of sand to as large as 3-4CM. Breast lumps increase in size before menstruation and decrease in size and soften after menstruation.

Associated symptoms

Patients often feel depressed or irritable, and may also experience dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, etc. A small number of patients have brown or yellowish liquid secreting from their nipples.

People say that lobular breast hyperplasia can cause cancer, which is incorrect because lobular breast hyperplasia is just a proliferative disease of the breast, not a tumor or inflammation, and the chance of cancer is almost non-existent. Such cases are extremely rare in life. So if you suffer from lobular breast hyperplasia, don't panic. With timely treatment, you can recover quickly.
