Vulvar itching and white discharge, what is going on

Vulvar itching is a common gynecological disease. Some women may not pay much attention to the cleanliness of their vulva. For example, women who work overtime and stay up late for a long time may be busy with work and do not pay attention to cleaning their vulva. In this way, the vulva is easily infected by bacteria, resulting in itching and secretions. In this case, you should pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva and go to the hospital for examination to find out the specific problem before treatment. Here are some common treatments for vulvar itching.

Considering inflammation, it is recommended to clean the affected area with baking soda solution or apply imidazole ointment such as Daconil ointment, clotrimazole ointment, etc. Oral administration of trichostatin and itraconazole. Pay attention to hygiene at ordinary times. Sexual intercourse is prohibited during treatment. In addition, pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva and do not use soap to wash the vulva; try to restrain scratching and rubbing the affected area; avoid spicy food; and be careful to avoid emotional changes.

This may be vulvar itching caused by vaginitis, which is mostly caused by a large amount of abnormal leucorrhea discharged from vaginitis caused by Trichomonas or fungal infection, which irritates the vulva. Recommendation: Go to the gynecology department of a regular hospital for a pathogenic examination of vaginal or cervical secretions, and receive symptomatic treatment after a clear diagnosis. During the treatment, the vulva should be kept clean and hygienic, and alcohol and spicy food should be avoided.

It is a case of vulvar pruritus which is related to previous vaginal infection. Currently the symptoms of vaginitis have disappeared and there is no need for repeated medication. At present, in addition to the abnormal leucorrhea caused by vaginitis, the following reasons may also cause vulvar itching: vulvar malnutrition, parasitic infection around the vulva, infrequent cleaning of the vulva, or unclean sexual intercourse, local eczema, dermatitis, drug allergy, diabetes, and vitamin A and B deficiency.

It is generally believed that vulvar itching is just a symptom of some gynecological diseases. Of course, sometimes it is not just gynecological diseases, but diabetes can also cause vulvar itching. Among gynecological diseases, candidal vaginitis and Trichomonas vaginitis are common causes of vulvar itching. Vulva itching may also occur due to taking medications that may cause allergies or coming into contact with substances that may cause allergies.
