What are the harms of uterine fibroids to women?

Uterine fibroids are a common malignant disease in women clinically. They have extremely serious impacts on women's physical health and can even lead to female infertility in severe cases. Due to the special structure of the female body, uterine fibroids grow inside the uterus, so there is a dilemma in treatment. Therefore, for the sake of protecting women, we still recommend health care treatment as the main approach.

Patients with uterine fibroids who suffer from heavy menstrual periods for a long time are prone to secondary anemia and even anemic heart disease. In severe cases, they may experience symptoms such as general fatigue, pale complexion, shortness of breath, and palpitations. Subserosal fibroids may twist at the pedicle, causing acute abdominal pain. If the tumor pedicle is severely torsioned and surgery is not performed immediately or it cannot be torn back on its own, the tumor pedicle may be broken and a free myoma may be formed. The twisted myoma may also pull the entire uterus and cause axial torsion of the uterus.

Uterine fibroids can also lead to infertility, miscarriage, premature birth, and other complications during delivery. The influence of fibroids during pregnancy can cause abdominal pain and uterine contractions, which need to be differentiated from premature birth. Patients with uterine fibroids will experience symptoms of menstrual changes, such as increased menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual periods. Irregular bleeding can lead to invasion by pathogenic bacteria, causing gynecological inflammations such as adnexitis and pelvic inflammatory disease.

There are many female friends in our country who suffer from uterine fibroids. Most of them are caused by not paying attention to health care in daily life, especially not paying attention to menstrual health care when they are young, which leads to various cold air being blocked in the body. Over time, various physical illnesses will form. Therefore, we must pay special attention to women's physiological hygiene and health care in life.
