Treatment of female adnexitis

Treatment of female adnexitis

The biggest difference between women and men is that women have the ability to conceive, but if there is a problem with a woman's body, it may lead to the possibility of not being able to conceive. Adnexitis is one of the diseases that may cause infertility. Adnexitis generally refers to the fallopian tubes and ovaries, which are called the appendages of the uterus. These organs all play a very important role in fertility. So, what are the treatments for female adnexitis?

The treatment of adnexitis includes many items, the more common ones are salpingitis, oophoritis, etc. These inflammations are usually accompanied by pelvic inflammation, which is usually caused by the invasion of pathogenic bacteria. Once adnexitis occurs, there will often be some complications.

There are two clinical manifestations of adnexitis: acute adnexitis and chronic adnexitis. The following treatments are usually used:

1. Drug therapy

(1) For vaginal medication, Gong Meixiu Gel is more effective.

(2) Antibiotic treatment

For patients with obvious symptoms, antibiotics should be used as the first choice for treatment. Antibiotics can kill any remaining pathogenic bacteria and prevent acute attacks. Commonly used drugs are still penicillin, gentamicin, metronidazole, etc., and the usage is the same as that for acute salpingo-oophoritis and pelvic peritonitis.

(3) Intrauterine injection can be performed for fallopian tube obstruction caused by chronic salpingitis.

2. Tissue therapy

Such as placental tissue fluid and placental globulin, intramuscular injection, once a day or every other day, 15 times as a course of treatment.

3. Physical therapy

Commonly used physical therapies include short wave, ultrashort wave, infrared, audio, ion penetration, etc. However, do not use physical therapy if the body temperature exceeds 37.5℃ or if you have genital tuberculosis.

4. Surgery

Larger hydrosalpinx or tubo-ovarian cysts caused by inflammation can be treated surgically. For those who are infertile due to fallopian tube obstruction, fallopian tube repair surgery can be performed.

The above is an introduction to the treatment methods of female adnexitis. Adnexitis can have a great impact on women’s bodies, so once discovered, it must be treated early. If not treated in time, it can also lead to chronic diseases and infertility. Therefore, female friends should pay attention to hygiene in life, enhance resistance and avoid the occurrence of adnexitis.
