Among them, the immunoglobulin content of umbilical cord blood of newborns in the vaginal delivery group was significantly higher than that in the cesarean section group. The reason is that the immunoglobulin of newborns delivered by vaginal delivery is obtained from the mother during labor, especially when passing through the birth canal, due to the squeezing of uterine contractions. From this it can be seen that cesarean section can reduce the immunity and anti-infection ability of newborns and increase the chance of newborn infection.
