Moderate cervical erosion pictures

Women with mild to moderate cervical erosion are often prone to infertility and miscarriage. What's more frightening is that if cervical erosion is not treated or cured for a long time, it may develop into moderate to severe cervical erosion or precancerous lesions, or even cervical cancer. Suffering from mild to moderate cervical erosion will affect the normal pregnancy in the future, so women must pay attention to this disease and do a good job of prevention. Let’s take a look at what mild to moderate cervical erosion is.

Symptoms of mild to moderate cervical erosion are:

1. There is a lot of leucorrhea, which is thick and yellowish, or there is blood in the secretions. A very small number of women will also experience bleeding during sexual intercourse.

2. The vagina is subjected to long-term stimulation by inflammatory secretions, and women may also suffer from vulvar itching.

3. The cervical lymph nodes are directly connected to the paracervical connective tissue. Inflammation can spread through the blood circulation to the pelvis, causing pelvic connective tissue inflammation, resulting in symptoms such as lumbar pain, lower abdominal distension and pain.

If women with mild to moderate cervical erosion fail to receive timely treatment for a long time, the inflammation will worsen and turn into third-degree cervical erosion. Severe patients may suffer from female infertility or ectopic pregnancy. Therefore, patients with mild to moderate cervical erosion should introduce appropriate treatment as soon as possible.

Causes of mild to moderate cervical erosion:

The causes of mild to moderate cervical erosion are the same as those of other cervical erosions, which can be summarized into the following three aspects:

1. Clean sexual life: During sexual life, the male genitals and cervix are in direct contact. If men do not pay attention to the hygiene of sexual life, they can directly bring pathogens into the vagina, infect the cervix and cause chronic cervicitis.

2. Multiple abortions: Repeated abortions can cause varying degrees of cervical damage, giving bacteria an opportunity. Due to the stimulation of inflammation, local secretions increase, and long-term immersion of the cervix in inflammatory secretions will cause erosion.

3. Excessive cleaning: Some women often use high-concentration disinfectants to wash the vagina, which will increase the biological diversity of the female vagina, hinder the growth of normal beneficial bacteria, reduce its ability to inhibit pathogens, and finally cause erosion.
