How to stop bleeding from uterine fibroids?

Uterine fibroids are a very common gynecological disease in women. Uterine fibroids are not very serious. As long as we discover and treat them in time, our bodies will not be seriously harmed after timely removal of uterine fibroids. Uterine fibroids often induce bleeding. If uterine fibroids induce bleeding, you must stop the bleeding quickly. Stopping the bleeding is not an easy thing. Let's take a look at how to stop bleeding from uterine fibroids.

Uterine bleeding is the main symptom of uterine fibroids, occurring in more than half of the patients. Among them, cyclical bleeding is the most common, which can manifest as increased menstrual volume, prolonged menstrual period or shortened cycle. It may also present as irregular vaginal bleeding that is not related to the menstrual cycle. Uterine bleeding is more common with submucosal fibroids and intramural fibroids, while subserosal fibroids rarely cause uterine bleeding.

The hemostatic drugs that can be taken under the guidance of a physician for uterine fibroid bleeding are:

1. Mifepristone is a progesterone antagonist that has been used clinically in recent years to treat uterine fibroids. It can reduce the size of fibroids, but the fibroids often grow again after discontinuation of the drug.

2. Danazol is used for preoperative medication or treatment of uterine fibroids that are not suitable for surgery. Uterine fibroids may grow larger after medication is stopped. Danazol can cause liver damage and androgen-induced side effects (weight gain, acne, hoarse voice, etc.).

3. Tamoxifen (tamoxifen) can inhibit the growth of fibroids. However, long-term use may cause enlargement of uterine fibroids in some patients, and may even induce endometriosis and endometrial cancer, so this should be paid attention to.

In addition, the following are some commonly used drugs for many patients with uterine fibroids:

Dahuang Zhechong Pills: promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, unblock menstruation and eliminate symptoms. It is used for abdominal masses and amenorrhea caused by blood stasis, with symptoms including abdominal lumps, skin and nail discoloration, dark complexion, hot flashes, emaciation and amenorrhea.

Gongliuqing Capsule: Indications: It has the effects of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, eliminating symptoms and breaking up accumulations, nourishing blood and clearing heat. Used for intramural uterine fibroids and subserosal fibroids.

When you suffer from uterine fibroids, you will experience bleeding. In this case, you should follow these methods to stop the bleeding. Stopping the bleeding can regulate the disease and make the body more normal. Stopping the bleeding is also to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, so that the disease can be cured as soon as possible. Don't be impatient when treating uterine fibroids. If the disease is not very serious, timely medication should be used. If it is serious, surgical treatment is required.
